Recordings
In this project, I will collect found cds, storing them in a cd case, and recording the date/location on/at which they were found. I plan to display this work in a space in which the viewer can interact with the individual cds. Each cd will be placed in its own player, with adjoined headphones. The viewer will receive the audio information on the cd (in whatever state it may be) in addition to the date/location.

i have a friend who has a cd in his collection called "found in road." it was found in the road. it has lots of missy elliott on it. i liked to listen to it while washing the dishes.
i have always wondered why people throw cds out their windows. must be common. i think downtown might be a good place to find them.
